Bothell PCC store opens

A PCC Natural Markets store opened in Bothell on July 12 with a ceremony conducted by PCC CEO Cate Hardy and Mayor Andy Rheaume.

A PCC Natural Markets store opened in Bothell on July 12 with a ceremony conducted by PCC CEO Cate Hardy and Mayor Andy Rheaume.

The store is the first in the city and provides a wide selection of organic food.

Two features are unique to the store and include a Rotisserie to slowly cook meats in-store and a food donation pilot program where leftover prepared food is donated to local nonprofit organizations.

The Seattle-based chain was founded in 1953 and has 11 stores in the Greater Seattle area. Other stores are located in Issaquah, Kirkland, Redmond, Edmonds and multiple locations in Seattle.

The store is located at 22621 Bothell Everett Highway.
