The Bothell Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying a man suspected of sexually assaulting a 49 year-old woman in Bothell.

According to Bothell Police Public Information Officer Capt. Denise Langford, the suspect originally met the woman while she waited at a bus stop in Everett during evening hours on January 31, 2010.

The suspect was recorded on the store’s video surveillance camera. Police allege that shortly after visiting the convenience store, the suspect sexually assaulted the woman inside the vehicle. Officials further stated the victim attempted to phone 911 and the suspect dragged her out of the vehicle by her hair and drove away.

The suspect is described as an Asian male in his mid-20s, approximately 5’9″, 150 pounds, with shoulder length dark hair.

The suspect vehicle was described as a small, two-door passenger vehicle, white in color.
