Bothell police have the Public Works truck that two male suspects drove off with back in the city’s possession.

Capt. Denise Langford said it was recently recovered in Snohomish County and was undamaged.

On the morning of the Nov. 6 theft, police recovered some items left behind at the scene by the suspects and also obtained video surveillance footage, according to Langford. Detectives examined the items.

At approximately 2:15 a.m., the suspects entered the fenced, parking lot area at the city of Bothell Public Works Operations Center, located at 21239 20th Ave. S.E., in the Snohomish County portion of the city. The suspects attempted to light a Public Works van on fire and stole the truck.

The truck is a white, 2009 Ford F-350 flatbed utility truck and is equipped with toolboxes, a crane that is bolted and wired to the truck and a dual cone rack on the front. The truck has “City of Bothell” logos on the driver’s and passenger side doors.
