Bothell resident earns scholarship from WWU

Western Washington University student Zane Asad Hashmi, son of Asad Hashmi and Uzma Arif of Bothell, received the $1,500 Crane Fund for Widows and Children Scholarship for the 2016-2017 academic year.

Western Washington University student Zane Asad Hashmi, son of Asad Hashmi and Uzma Arif of Bothell, received the $1,500 Crane Fund for Widows and Children Scholarship for the 2016-2017 academic year.

The Crane Fund for Widows and Children Scholarship is a scholarship for Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management students at Western.

Hashmi graduated from Bothell High School in 2014 and is a sophomore at Western. He is studying Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management and plans to graduate in 2018.
