Jeremy Zard, a member of Boy Scout Troop 574 in Bothell, was recognized Sept. 22 for achieving the Eagle Scout rank.

The Northshore community will benefit from his Eagle Scout project. Jeremy organized the project in coordination with Foundation House of Bothell to repaint emergency lane curb markings and parking stall demarcation.

Jeremy has enjoyed scouting with Troop 574 for 10 years. Of his many scouting memories, highlights include the Fall Kickoff at Mountain Meadows (Duvall) and the summer resident camps at Camp Parsons (Hood Canal) and Camp Grizzly (Potlatch, ID).
