Bothell High School student Carl Christensen received a $3,000 Presidential Scholarship to Eastern Washington University for the 2015-16 Academic Year. To qualify, students must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.8 or higher, Or, 1250+ SAT/28+ ACT.

Christensen will graduate this spring and enter EWU in the fall with plans to study music. At Bothell High School, he is in the marching band, jazz band and wind ensemble. He also ran cross country and track, and was team captain in cross country his senior year. He is the son of Eric and Betsy Christensen of Bothell.
