Challenge Island Bothell Seattle is now accepting registrations to its summer camps.

The youth education and enrichment program promotes creative and critical thinking skills in children. The program in Bothell officially began serving the community on Feb. 3 with an after school enrichment program at Woodmoor Elementary.

“We invite the entire community to discover Challenge Island,” said Tamar Menteer Gonzalez, owner of Challenge Island Bothell Seattle. “With exciting islands such as Shark Tooth Island, Amusement Park Island and more, Challenge Island doesn’t just entertain children, but gives parents a new way to empower them to think outside the box and flex their cognitive and creative muscles.”

Challenge Island offers a cutting edge educational thought program where participants divide into tribes and take on exciting thematic science, technology, engineering and math focused challenges. Through what is called, “cooperative learning,” kindergarten through sixth grade collaborate with their peers to accomplish a shared goal.
