Bothell United Methodist pastor retires

The Rev. Gregory K. Jackson, the senior pastor at Bothell United Methodist Church for the past 13 years, is retiring.

The Rev. Gregory K. Jackson, the senior pastor at Bothell United Methodist Church for the past 13 years, is retiring.

Rev. Jackson is retiring after 39 years of ministry, having served four other congregations in Washington and a term as Puget Sound district superintendent.

Throughout his years in Bothell, United Methodist Church has continued to be involved in the local community with support for Hopelink, the Crop Walk, The Children’s Garden, Tent City 4, Boys and Girl Scouts, Teen Mother’s program, afterschool programs, ecumenical celebrations, Northshore Family Preschool and the Blood Bank, among others.

Bothell United Methodist Church’s growth during this time necessitated the building of a larger sanctuary.

He will retire June 30.
