Bothell vendors will participate in Eastside Wedding Show

The Eastside Wedding Show will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 12 at the Hollywood Schoolhouse in Woodinville.

The first 50 brides through the door will receive a complimentary tote/gift bag. The first 200 brides will receive a copy of Seattle Metropolitan Bride & Groom Magazine. Show attendees will also have the opportunity to enter multiple raffle drawings to win prizes from the participating vendors, including Bothell’s Shannon’s Flowers, Hillcrest Bakery and videographer Final Take Productions.

“We have created this special event to highlight the products and services of the wedding vendors, businesses and facilities in the area,” says Kim Berg-Dunlap, former Bothell resident and event coordinator. Members of her family — the Ericksens — have lived in or near Bothell since the late 1800s.

Berg-Dunlap was married in 2007 in the Bothell United Methodist Church, the same place her parents were married many years before.

“I attended a number of the major wedding expos when I was planning my own wedding,” she said. “I noticed that at the larger shows, it was quite easy to feel overwhelmed by the vast number of different wedding vendors.”

The Eastside Wedding Show, she added, will give brides and grooms the opportunity to personally connect with the vendors, so as to get a better idea of which ones would be a good match for their needs and style.

Admission and parking are free. Hollywood Schoolhouse is located at 14810 N.E. 145th St.
