Bothell’s Music in the Park concert cancelled tonight due to forecasted lightning

Tonight’s scheduled concert at the North Creek Sportsfield #3, Creme Tangerine, has been cancelled because lightning is expected.

The following is a press release from the City of Bothell.

Tonight’s scheduled concert at the North Creek Sportsfield #3, featuring Creme Tangerine, has been cancelled because lightning is expected.

The concert was scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and the concert will not be rescheduled.

Several thunderstorms are forecasted with possible small hail and frequent lightning this evening.

There are two remaining outdoor concerts in Bothell this season:

  • Cherry Cherry, Aug. 21
  • Afrodisiacs, Aug. 28

Concerts are scheduled from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at North Creek Sportsfield #3, located at 11905 North Creek Pkwy S in Bothell.

The Kids Love Soccer program at Cedar Grove Park is cancelled tonight as well.
