Cities set holiday egg hunts for April 3-4

Area residents can hop on over to egg hunts in a couple of different spots in Bothell and Kenmore.

Area residents can hop on over to egg hunts in a couple of different spots in Bothell and Kenmore.

• The city of Kenmore’s annual hunt is from 10 a.m. to noon, April 3 at Inglemoor High, 15500 Simonds Road. The hunt is on rain or shine.

Children 12 and under will divide into age groups and search for more than 5,000 eggs filled with candy and toys in the open grass field area.

All egg-hunt participants are encouraged to arrive by 10 a.m. Kids also can enjoy inflatable rides, games, coloring activities and more inside the gymnasium.

The event is free, but attendees are encouraged to bring canned food to support the local Hopelink Food Bank.

• Also in Kenmore, Epiphany Lutheran Church will hold an Easter egg hunt for children ages 3-10 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. April 3 at 16450 Juanita Drive. There will be games, crafts and food. For more information, call (425) 488-9606.

• In Bothell, the city-sponsored egg hunt will start at 10 a.m. April 3 at the Northshore YMCA’s Doug Allen Sportsfields, 19417 88th Ave. N.E. Fields will be divided by age groups.

As in Kenmore, the event is free, but participants are encouraged to bring a canned food donation to help Hopelink. Call (425) 486-7430 for details.

• Finally, again in Bothell, Hopkins Nursery, 15028 100th Ave. N.E., will hold a hunt at 1 p.m. April 4 for children ages 2-10.

Fee is $2 per child and the event includes a visit from the Easter Bunny.
