After more than two weeks of closure, 108th Avenue Northeast/112th Place Northeast between East Riverside Drive and Northeast 164th Place reopened Wednesday night.

The road had been closed since the week of Jan. 16 because trees damaged during the snow and wind posed a risk to drivers and power poles in that area.  City crews and crews from Puget Sound Energy have removed hazardous trees and the road is now open.

“Thank you to the residents in the area and parents and students of the nearby school: your patience is greatly appreciated,” read a city press release.
