City of Bothell seeking applicant for Lodging Tax Advisory Committee

The city of Bothell welcomes Bothell-based businesses authorized to collect lodging tax under Chapter 67.28 RCW, such as Bothell hotels, rooming houses, tourist courts, motels or trailer camps, to apply for an open position on the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC).

The city of Bothell welcomes Bothell-based businesses authorized to collect lodging tax under Chapter 67.28 RCW, such as Bothell hotels, rooming houses, tourist courts, motels or trailer camps, to apply for an open position on the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC). The committee consists of six tourism-related businesses that meet quarterly to review and provide recommendations about spending and marketing considerations established under the Visitor Development Strategic Plan. The Committee also reviews and approves the annual Visitor Spending Plan before presentation for approval by City Council.

Position Six will serve a partial term that expires in May 2011. Applications will be accepted from now until 5 p.m. May 28. Interviews before the City Council are tentatively scheduled for June 1. Applications are available at the City Clerk’s office, Bothell City Hall, 13805 101st Ave. N.E.
