The city of Kenmore is hosting Kenmore Play Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 9.

The event is at Rhododendron Park, located at 6910 NE 170th St. It features play stations, education booths, magic show, kite making, arts and crafts, storytime, Jumpin’ J’s jump rope performances and fitness stations.

City council member will serve free lunch from noon to 1 p.m. Pick up your Passport to Play booklet at the event, visit at least 8 stations, and win a free prize.

Parking is limited at the park. A free shuttle is provided between City Hall and Rhododendron Park. Children must be accompanied by an adult to ride the free shuttle.
