The city of Kenmore and King County Historic Preservation Office will host an informational meeting to follow up on a 2011 documentation survey and provide other information on historic preservation programs from 7-8:3 p.m. at Kenmore City Hall on March 19.

In 2011, the King County Historic Preservation Program conducted a survey of about 100 properties in Kenmore built before 1976. The survey focused on mid-century structures and was completed to provide basic information for future planning and preservation efforts. There was no regulatory aspect to the survey. King County Historic Preservation staff will present information from the survey, answer questions, and discuss programs for historic properties in general. Feel free to bring any photos or other documents about your property to the meeting.

King County provides historic preservation services for Kenmore and 19 other cities through an interlocal agreement, and the 2011 documentation survey was funded through a grant from the National Park Service.
