“The ability to deliver programming to our viewers in High Definition is the next step in improving King County TV,” said Station Manager James Burns. “Government channels should be able to provide viewers with the same options they would expect on other stations. Our conversion to HD is the logical step in meeting that need.”

King County TV began its conversion to an all HD format with the installation of HD cameras in County Council Chambers last November. The station received its HD channel from Comcast in the recent franchise agreement and completed the conversion in February.

King County TV provides a transparent view into the operations of County government and the issues affecting our region. It can be seen in 450,000 cable households throughout King County.
