The city of Kenmore invites the community to the annual National Night Out Against Crime event from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at Kenmore City Hall, 18120 68th Ave NE. Join friends and neighbors as the Kenmore Police Department hosts a fun evening with free food, home and personal safety information, and activities such as fingerprinting and identification cards for children.
National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs; strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
