Members of the community are invited to honor first Mayor Jack V. Crawford’s many contributions to Kenmore at a tree-planting ceremony at 10 a.m. Oct. 24 near the Kenmore Heritage Society’s History Path at Log Boom Park, 61st Avenue Northeast and Northeast 175th Street.

The Kenmore City Council proclaimed Oct. 24 “Courtesy is Contagious Day in Kenmore” as an annual observance in honor of Crawford (1928–2008).
