Domestic violence incident involving box cutter sends two adults to Harborview from Bothell

The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) is reporting that a man and a woman, both believed to be in their 40s, sustained critical injuries following a domestic violence incident in unincorporated Bothell on Thursday afternoon.

The call to 911 about a possible domestic violence incident was for the 2100 block of Maltby Road.

“Aid is transporting both to Harborview Regional Medical Center,” said SCSO spokesperson Shari Ireton. “It is unconfirmed how the injuries were sustained, but it was a reported that the male had a box cutter.”

The relationship between the male and female is unknown at this time.

Major Crimes Unit detectives for SCSO are en route.
