Eighth annual Chilifest Oct. 9 at Bothell’s Evergreen Washelli

The eighth annual Chilifest event will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at Evergreen Washelli in Bothell.

The eighth annual Chilifest event will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at Evergreen Washelli in Bothell.

The event is organized by the Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce.

The event will feature community members from Bothell and Kenmore and their homemade chili in a contest for various prizes. Community members are invited to the free event to taste and vote to determine the best entries. For every $1 or nonperishable food item donated will get participants a vote for the “People’s Choice” award. All donations benefit Hopelink.

Evergreen Washelli is located at 18224 103rd Ave NE in Bothell.
