EvergreenHealth recently announced that Sky Valley Family Medicine has joined the Kirkland-based health system’s network of primary care practices. The practice, now known as EvergreenHealth Primary Care – Sultan, and its providers, Victoria Baker-Hall, M.D., Mark Raney, D.O., and Allan J. Ellsworth, PharmD, PA-C, will continue to serve patients from the current location in Sultan while connecting patients to the extended resources and specialty care offered by EvergreenHealth.

“We are fortunate to welcome this talented local team to our growing network of providers,” said EvergreenHealth CEO Bob Malte. “The Sultan practice has long reflected EvergreenHealth Primary Care’s patient-centered approach and their addition helps provide increased access to personalized, high-quality family medicine for Snohomish County residents.”

The Sultan practice is located just 15 minutes from EvergreenHealth Monroe, the former Valley General Hospital, which joined the Kirkland-based EvergreenHealth system in March to ensure the long-term viability of quality health care in East Snohomish County. Expanding primary care services is one of many ways the two organizations are integrating to provide the most comprehensive care and services for area residents.

The new EvergreenHealth Primary Care – Sultan is the 10th practice in EvergreenHealth’s network of primary care practices, which is the largest on the Eastside. Together with the affiliated independent practices in its clinically integrated network, EvergreenHealth Partners, the organization serves patients from nearly two dozen primary care locations.

About the providers:

Victoria Baker-Hall, M.D. received her medical degree from the University of Washington. Her philosophy of care is that medicine is both a science and an art that is constantly evolving, and her approach is rooted in putting patients first.

Mark Raney, D.O., received his medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. His philosophy of care centers on a positive provider-patient relationship with the best care made possible by close collaboration between the provider and the patient.

Allan J. Ellsworth, PharmD, PA-C, received his medical training from MEDEX Northwest and the University of Washington. He currently serves as a professor of pharmacy at UW, and his clinical interests include high-altitude medicine research and ways to improve primary care.
