The Snohomish County public works has authorized an extension of road work along Locust Way.

The work, which starts at 8:30 a.m. and goes through 4:30 p.m., has been extended through Friday, May 15.

Errol’S Bulldozing has been closing Locust Way, near the Cook Short plat, down to one-lane of traffic in order to construct frontage improvements and offsite walkways.

While emergency vehicles and school district transportation will have right of way at all times, other motorists may encounter delays.
