‘Fiddler’ performances, auction on tap

Bothell High Theatre Arts’ spring musical “Fiddler on the Roof” opens May 8 in the Northshore Performing Arts Center after more than 150 hours of rehearsals, fight and dance choreography training and vocal coaching.

Bothell High Theatre Arts’ spring musical “Fiddler on the Roof” opens May 8 in the Northshore Performing Arts Center after more than 150 hours of rehearsals, fight and dance choreography training and vocal coaching.

The show runs May 8, 9, 15 and 16, with 7:30 p.m. evening performances and 2 p.m. matinees May 9 and 16. The May 16 matinee will be American Sign Language-interpreted for the hearing impaired.

Closing night May 16 will also provide theater patrons with another opportunity to support the program. A benefit silent auction will begin at 6 p.m. in the BHS Commons.

The Commons and Northshore Performing Arts Center are located adjacent to each other on the Bothell High campus, located at 9180 N.E. 180th St.

The fund-raiser will feature an hour of hot jazz supplied by the BHS Sophomore Jazz Combo and cool desserts creatively produced by more than 40 culinary arts students enrolled in instructor Joann Bushnell’s program.
