Fundraising concert for UW-Bothell’s Veterans Archway coming to Kenmore

The Student Veterans Association at UW-Bothell will be holding a concert this Friday at 5:30 p.m. to raise funds to construct an archway at the edge of campus. The concert, highlighted by local artists Josh Miles and Alex Swenson, will be held at the Lake Trail Tap Room in Kenmore, 7324 Northeast 175th Street.

The Student Veterans Association at UW-Bothell will be holding a concert this Friday at 5:30 p.m. to raise funds to construct an archway at the edge of campus.

The concert, highlighted by local artists Josh Miles and Alex Swenson, will be held at the Lake Trail Tap Room in Kenmore, 7324 Northeast 175th Street.

The Veterans Archway will be located next to a new sports and recreation complex funded by students. Its purpose is to celebrate the transition of veterans to academic and civilian life.

The archway will cost an estimated $60,000, more than $20,000 of which has already been raised by students.

UW-Bothell has about 150 student veterans on campus this fall, some of whom will be in attendance at the concert.
