On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the city of Bothell will be hosting a tree planting celebration along the North Creek Business Park just off North creek Parkway. The event is planned for Jan. 17, from 9 a.m. to noon and will occur at the North Creek Trail at 19102 North Creek Parkway in Bothell.

They will be planting trees and removing invasive species from the trail behind the King County Brightwater Station.

It is advised that participants wear appropriate clothing for weather and work conditions, including sturdy shows, hat and other protective gear. The city will supply water, gloves and tools.
