The organizers of the Haunted Trails at Bastyr University have decided to cancel the event for this weekend (Oct. 14-15) only due to the predicted inclement weather hitting western Washington.

“Our Haunted Forest is a little scarier than we would like once the wind starts howling and the trees start falling,” the event organizers wrote in an email.

However, the event will still go on as planned for the weekend of Oct. 21-22.

“If you’ve already purchased your tickets online for this weekend, you will be getting a message from us via BrownPaperTickets offering you an opportunity to transfer your tickets to next weekend or request a refund,” organizers said.
