Himalayan Dog Chew company has initiated a voluntary recall on their Ruff Roots chews sold in Petsmart.

Himalayan Dog Chew company has initiated a voluntary recall on their Ruff Roots chews sold in Petsmart.

The Edmonds-based company creates natural dog chews, however the following LOT numbers had high amounts of metal on the treat.

  • Ruff Root Sprout – LOT# SP001
  • Ruff Root Stump – LOT# ST001
  • Ruff Root Stalk – LOT# SA001

Any Ruff Roots purchased at Petsmart may be returned to the store for a refund.

According to Himalayan Dog Chew company, all other Ruff Roots, not purchased at Petsmart, are safe, of quality standard, and not subject to the recall.
