I-405 lane and ramp closures between Bellevue and Lynnwood this weekend

Drivers on Interstate 405 between Bellevue and Lynnwood should prepare for possible delays Saturday evening, June 6, through Sunday morning, June 7.

Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close several lanes and ramps on I-405 between State Route 520 in Bellevue and Interstate 5 in Lynnwood. These closures are needed to complete traffic shift and pavement work for the I-405 Bellevue to Lynnwood Widening and Express Toll Lanes project.

Lane closures:

  • Up to four lanes of northbound I-405 between SR 520 and Northeast 70th Street will close starting at 7 p.m. The first lane will reopen by 7:30 a.m. and all lanes will reopen by noon.
  • Up to four lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 85th Street and Northeast 124th Street will close starting at 7 p.m. The first lane will be open by 7:30 a.m. and all lanes will reopen by noon.

Ramp closures:

  • The Northeast 8th Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will close from midnight to 7 a.m.
  • The eastbound and westbound SR 520 ramps to northbound I-405 will close from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
