The following is a release from the Washington State Department of Transportation:

Drivers on Interstate 405 between Bellevue and Lynnwood should prepare for possible delays Friday evening, Sept. 18, through Mondaymorning, Sept. 21.

Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close several lanes and ramps on I-405 between Southeast 8th Street in Bellevue and Interstate 5 in Lynnwood. These closures are needed to complete signage and striping work for the I-405 Bellevue to Lynnwood Widening and Express Toll Lanes project.

Lane closures:

• Friday, Sept. 18, to the morning of Saturday, Sept. 19

o   Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 160th Street and I-5 will be closed from 11 p.m. to 9 a.m.

o   Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 160th Street and Northeast 124th Street will be closed from 7 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.

• Saturday, Sept. 19, to the morning of Sunday, Sept. 20

o   Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 between Southeast 8th Street and Northeast 12th Street will be closed from 7 p.m. to noon.

o   Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 between State Route 522 and I-5 will be closed from 6 p.m. to 11 a.m.

o   Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between I-5 and State Route 527 will be closed from 7 p.m. to 11 a.m.

Ramp closures:

• Friday, Sept. 18, to the morning of Saturday, Sept. 19

o   The southbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 70th Street will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

o   The Northeast 70th Street on-ramp to southbound I-405 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

• Sunday, Sept. 20, to the morning of Monday, Sept. 21

o   The northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 70th Street will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

o   The Northeast 70th Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

o   The northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 85th Street will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
