I-405 lane and ramp closures between Kirkland and Bothell Sunday night

Drivers on Interstate 405 between Kirkland and Bothell should prepare for possible delays Sunday evening, Feb. 7, to Monday morning, Feb. 8.

Drivers on Interstate 405 between Kirkland and Bothell should prepare for possible delays Sunday evening, Feb. 7, to Monday morning, Feb. 8.

Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close several lanes and ramps on I-405 between Northeast 70th Place in Kirkland and State Route 522 in Bothell. These closures are needed to complete permanent striping for the I-405 Bellevue to Lynnwood Widening and Express Toll Lanes project.

Lane closures

  • Up to three right lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 70th Place to Northeast 160th Street will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. During this time, the express toll lanes will be open to all.
  • Up to three right lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 160th Street and Northeast 124th Street will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. During this time, the express toll lanes will be open to all.

Ramp closures

  • The Northeast 70th Place on-ramp to northbound I-405 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • The northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 85th Street will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • The Northeast 160th Street on-ramp to southbound I-405 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • The southbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 160th Street will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • The Northeast 160th Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • The northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 160th Street will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • The northbound I-405 off-ramp to SR 522 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • The eastbound and westbound SR 522 on-ramps to southbound I-405 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
