Crews worked through the night, and as of 6 a.m., there are no road closures. However, icy conditions continue to make roads very slick, perhaps more treacherous than yesterday, and drivers are cautioned to be very careful, according to the city. If residents have to drive, it’s best to avoid big hills and try to find alternate routes.
Major roads are the highest priority and it might not be possible to reach every neighborhood.
Due to the amount of snow, some branches and trees are starting to topple under the load. If driving, keep an eye out for low-hanging branches and debris in the road. If residents see a tree blocking a road, they are asked to call Public Works at 425.486.2768 so the tree can be removed.
With rain and warmer temperatures expected over the next few days, there might be a chance of local flooding. Residents can help by clearing storm-drain grates of snow and debris.
