The Inglemoor High School Future Business Leaders of America Chapter invites the community to celebrate Holi, the Festival of Colors, April 4 at Inglemoor High School to benefit the March of Dimes.

Holi is the celebration of the coming of Spring and is primarily observed in India and Nepal.

The festival has, in recent times, spread to parts of Europe and North America as a celebration of love, frolic and colors. Holi celebrations include a free-for-all carnival of colors, where participants play, chase and colour each other with dry powder and colored water. Anyone and everyone is fair game, friend or stranger.

People play with family, friends and foes to throw colors on each other, laugh and chit-chat, then share Holi food and activities like Rangoli and Mehndi (henna).

Admission to the event is free. Holi Powder, Henna, food, raffle tickets and other activities and local business products will be available for purchase.

All proceeds will be donated to The March of Dimes, an FBLA associated charity, which aims to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
