Inglemoor High School students Jessica Cheung and Zhanpei Fang received second place in the state competition of the 2014 Federal Junior Duck Stamp Contest. Two other Inglemoor students, Tristan Gallagher and Sunny Hong, received honorable mentions. The students’ artwork will be shown around Washington state in a year-long traveling exhibition.

The Federal Junior Duck Stamp Art Contest, open to students in grades K-12, is the culmination of a year-long Junior Duck Stamp conservation program. After studying waterfowl anatomy and habitat, students use their new knowledge to draw, paint or sketch a picture of an eligible North American waterfowl species to enter in the art contest.
