Islamic Center of Bothell burglarized

On Thursday night (Nov. 3) at about 9:30 p.m., Bothell Police responded to the 3300 blk of Monte Villa Parkway on report of a male subject breaking into parked vehicles. Upon arrival, officers identified the two victim vehicles. A security guard who had witnessed the crimes provided officers with a detailed description of the suspect.

Officers searched the area and located the subject as he was walking out of the Islamic Center of Bothell (ICOB). Through investigation, it was discovered the male subject had broken into and burglarized the ICOB in addition to the vehicles. The 33-year-old subject was arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail on charges of second-degree burglary and second-degree vehicle prowling.

Officers did not observe any evidence this suspect specifically targeted the Islamic Center for his crimes.
