It’s Halloween time: Kenmore and Bothell events on tap

The city of Kenmore is unleashing its Dog-O-Ween Costume Contest from Oct. 25-31.

Do you have the best costume for your dog? Send in your best photo of your dog in its Halloween costume. The best dressed dogs will win prizes.

People can send entries to events@ci.kenmore.wa.us or P.O. Box 82607, Kenmore, WA 98028.

Other events include:

• The city of Bothell’s free Safe Halloween events will take place from 4-6 p.m. at Country Village, 23718 Bothell-Everett Highway, and 5-7 p.m. on Main Street Oct. 31.

Children up to age 12 are invited to trick or treat safely; costumes are not required.

Main Street will be closed from 4:30-7:30 p.m. for the event.

• Crosspointe Church, 19527 104th Ave. N.E., Bothell, is hosting a free “Trunk or Treat” Halloween event from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 31. There will be carnival games for kids and bouncy houses, and church members will decorate the trunks of their cars and pass out candy to the kids in a safe environment.

• Cedar Park Northshore Church, 18737 68th Ave. N.E., Kenmore, is having a Halloween block party from 4-7 p.m. Oct. 31.
