Kenmore author Larson to receive Christopher Award April 15 in New York City

Kirby Larson of Kenmore is one of the co-authors of “Nubs: The True Story of a Mutt, a Marine & a Miracle,” which is a winner of a Christopher Award in the young-reader category for children 6 to 8 years old.

The nine books being recognized this year affirm the highest values of the human spirit. In addition to the books, Christopher Awards will also be presented to the creators of three feature films and five TV and cable programs.

The 61st Christopher Awards will take place April 15 in New York City.
