March 9

The city of Kenmore’s receptionist was assaulted by a visitor to City Hall. The suspect threw his wallet at her and hit Kenmore’s receptionist in the face. The suspect has been charged with assault in the fourth degree.

A person violated a no contact order by contacting a victim near the 7600 block of Northeast 204th Place.

A person driving along Northeast 205th Street was found to be driving with a suspended or revoked license, however the suspect had entered his house before a traffic stop could be initiated.

A person was stopped near the intersection of Northeast 181st Street and 65th Avenue Northeast for traffic violations and was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence (DUI). The subject refused all testing and was booked into South Correctional Entity (SCORE).

A person was pulled over near the 20500 block of 61st Place Northeast and was arrested for a DUI. The person had a blood alcohol content (BAC) of 0.107 and 0.098 out of the legal limit of 0.08. The suspect was released at Shoreline.

A woman believes her ex-husband broke into her residence over night, by using the garage door remote, and stole divorce paperwork and jewelry.

A person residing near the 6300 block of NE 151st Street called to report a burglary. The suspect seems to have entered an unlocked car in their driveway, stealing the remote-controlled garage door opener. They then used this to enter the garage and stole items.

Another house near the last, along the 6300 block of NE 151st Street, reported theft of car contents. A person entered an unlocked car overnight and stole a cell phone. Estimated value of items stolen is more than $250.

A person was found to be driving with a suspended or revoked license near the 6100 block of NE Bothell Way. During the traffic stop, it was found the person had warrants, however it was not confirmed, so the suspect was released at the scene.

March 11

A victim reported a third and fourth vehicle break-in along the 6300 block of NE 151st Street. Both vehicles were left, unlocked, at the residence where the vehicle were broken into. The garage door opener was taken from both vehicles.

March 12

A victim reported their credit card was used for fraudulent online purchases.

A person was assaulted at the Kenmore Library, located at 6531 NE 181st St., after punching a person in the face. The attack was, allegedly, unprovoked. The suspect was arrested and booked into SCORE.

March 13

A person working loss prevention at Ride Aid, located at 18022 68th Ave. NE, reported that two females stole alcohol and attempted to conceal the theft in backpacks.

Inglemoor High School was the target of vandalism and graffiti. According to the reports, there were four broken glass doors and windows, and spray paint on the buildings. The case is under investigation.

March 14

An aggressive panhandler at Safeway was reported to authorities for trespassing. He was sent on his way by police.

March 15

A woman who lives with her mother recently started reconciling their bank accounts and noticed many questionable purchases made from her debit card, in excess of $250.

March 16

A father, residing in the Harbor Villa Condo’s, was assaulted by his son after asking the son to leave the apartment. The son was arrested on assault in the fourth degree.

A person level 3 sex offender registered a change of address, to near the 18800 block of 58th Avenue NE, with authorities. He is convicted of residential burglary with sexual motivations from 2003. A level 3 offender has a high risk of re-offense. The case is being monitored by KCSO detectives.

A person was pulled over near the 19000 block of 80th Avenue NE, for driving with an out-of-state suspended or revoked license. No action was taken.

A student of Kenmore Junior High School reported the theft of a cell phone while at school.

March 17

A person was pulled over near Northeast Bothell Way and 73rd Avenue Northeast for driving a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license, operating a vehicle without an interlock device, and failure to transfer a title within 45 days. The person was released at the scene.

Authorities contacted an 8 year old at Kenmore Elementary who was reportedly scared to go home. The parents were later arrested after it was found they had warrants out of Arizona. Child protective services (CPS) has been brought into the case.

Around the beginning of the month, a reporting person answered an email about an ad, asking if the victim wanted to earn $500 per week by having ads on his vehicle. The supposed business then sent the victim a fake check and asked if they would cash it, in order to get access to the victim’s accounts.

A person was arrested near the intersections of Northeast 181st Street and 61st Avenue Norheast for driving with a suspended license and having two warrants for their arrest. The suspect was booked into South Correctional Entity (SCORE).

March 18

A person with a blood alcohol content (BAC) of 0.341 was taken to Evergreen hospital for drunkenness and detox.

A person at Inglewood Country Club reported their vehicle had been broken into during the night an unknown tools taken from the vehicle. Between the tools and the broken window, the victim has lost more than $250 in value.

A person reported a smash and grab near the 17000 block of Inglewood Road. The suspect broke a window and grabbed a bag from the backseat. Value of items stolen and damage to the vehicle are less than $250.

A customer  of Lovely Nail & Salon, near the 6500 block of NE 181st St., refused to pay for nail and pedicure service due to dissatisfaction of service and walked out.

A person was driving near the 17800 block of 80th Ave. NE without a valid operators license, expired tabs and drug paraphernalia. The vehicle was impounded.

A person was arrested and booked into score for a misdemeanor warrant out of the Pacific Police Department for failing to appear in court for possession of drug paraphernalia.

March 19

A person reported items stolen from his father’s house, near the 5500 block of NE 182nd St., after the son found the house broken into. An unknown suspect took vintage jewelry belonging to the father’s wife.

Two people from neighboring businesses in the same building, located along the 7300 block of NE Bothell Way, got into a fight over parking spaces in the parking lot. A note was found on a vehicle in a ‘No Parking’ zone. When one business person went to the other to speak about it, a fight broke out. One person was arrested for assault in the fourth degree for kicking and pushing the victim.

A suspect entered a home through an unlocked garage door and took many items from the residence along the 1500 block of Juanita Drive NE.

A person was arrested and booked for a $30,000 King County felony warrant for failing to register as a sex offender. The person was arrested near the intersection of Northeast Bothell Way and 73rd Avenue.

A male residing near the 6700 block of NE 182nd St. committed assault in the fourth degree against his wife using his hands. It is unknown if any arrests were made or if charges will be filed.

A father near the 6400 block of NE 185th St. was arrested after grabbing and throwing his son after an argument about computer use.

A person reported their vehicle had been broken into late at night. When the victim returned to their car in the morning, items had been stolen from their vehicle. The victim admits the doors were not locked.

A person reported an aggressive male panhandler was bothering customers near the Rite Aid at 18022 68th Ave. NE.

March 23

A vehicle with expired tabs, from Feb. 7, 2014, was impounded near the 18700 block of 68th Ave. NE by Rainbow Towing.

Two white males were seen inside a Nissan Pathfinder with a trip permit. The vehicle was parked in the Safeway parking lot at 6850 NE Bothell Way. The males left on foot in an unknown direction. The Pathfinder was found to be stolen from Edmonds. There was no damage to the ignition, indicating possible shaved keys, however the license plates were removed and the trip permit was a photocopy.

A suspect was arrested near the 15400 block of NE Simonds Rd. for reckless driving and driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI). The suspect registered a 0.197 preliminary breath test (PBT), the legal limit is 0.08. The suspect was booked into SCORE.

A suspect was transported to SCORE for a Shoreline theft in the third degree warrant following an arrest by Mill Creek PD.
