Kenmore partnering with Cedar Park Northshore Church Food Bank for food drive

The city of Kenmore is partnering with Cedar Park Northshore Church Food Bank this holiday season through Dec. 11 to collect nonperishable food items at Kenmore City Hall during business hours; all donations will go directly to those in need in the Kenmore community.

The city of Kenmore is partnering with Cedar Park Northshore Church Food Bank this holiday season through Dec. 11 to collect nonperishable food items at Kenmore City Hall during business hours; all donations will go directly to those in need in the Kenmore community.

Some of the most needed items include canned fruits and vegetables, canned meats, boxed meals, soup and crackers and oatmeal packets. There is a large bin in the lobby of City Hall to collect items.

In the past year, Cedar Park Northshore Church Food Drive has provided over 500 grocery servings to Kenmore families. They are open the first and third Mondays of every month from 6–8 p.m. and accept food donations at the church Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The food bank is located at Cedar Park Northshore Church, 18737 68th Ave NE in Kenmore and can be reached at (425) 939-1377.
