Kenmore seeking citizens to serve city

The Kenmore City Council is seeking dedicated Kenmore citizens who are interested in serving on the Planning Commission or Downtown Task Force as openings become available.

The Planning Commission is a seven-member advisory body that provides guidance and recommendations to the City Council on policy matters relative to the amendment of the city’s comprehensive plan and/or related land-use regulations.

The Downtown Task Force is a 13-member advisory body that provides guidance and recommendations to the City Council on achieving the goals of the city’s adopted downtown plan.

Planning Commission positions are open to Kenmore residents only. Downtown Task Force positions are open to Kenmore residents and also to owners of property or business within Kenmore. To be considered for appointment, complete an application form and submit to the city clerk at lbatchelor@ci.kenmore.wa.us or via mail to Kenmore City Hall, P.O. Box 82607, Kenmore, WA 98028. Application forms are available on the city’s web site, www.cityofkenmore.com or at the City Hall address, 7330 N.E. Bothell, Way, Suite 201. Completed application forms will be accepted until Jan. 20.
