Kenmore Sheriff’s Blotter: Eleven cases of driving without a license, more burglaries

Between Jan. 25 and Jan. 31, three thefts (including identity theft and fraud) occurred along with two assaults, one possible vehicle prowl, eleven instances of driving without a valid license, one trespass, one case of public drunkenness, one case of forgery, two vehicle title transfer violations, two burglaries and one vehicle recovery.

The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of all calls to the King County Sheriff’s Office that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The King County Sheriff’s Office blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Kenmore.

Jan. 25

Packages were stolen from a front porch in the 7600 block of Northeast 195 Street.

 

Jan. 26

A suspect was in the Safeway parking lot crouching and looking into vehicles while wearing a head lamp.

A construction payment was made with a fraudulent credit card.

One driving without a valid license citation was issued.

Another driving without a valid license citation was issued.

 

Jan. 27

Five people were cited for driving with without a valid license during separate traffic stops during the day. One person was booked into King County Jail for a felony warrant after being pulled over.

Two cases of vehicle license violations were reported.

 

Jan. 28

A man was arrested for driving with a suspended Oregon license.

 

Jan. 29

A couple caused a disturbance at the 7750 Northeast Bothell Way Starbucks, prompting the store to call police to remove the couple.

A diamond anniversary ring was stolen from a house in the 6200 block of Northeast 193 Street.

A woman was arrested in the 6300 block of Northeast 159 Street on fourth-degree assault charges after striking her father during an argument over a tattoo machine.

Someone was arrested on assault charges after pushing their girlfriend and shaking a baby at the Brookside Apartments.

 

Jan. 30

Two people were cited for driving without a valid license during separate stops. One of the stops was resultant from a collision.

An unknown suspect broke into a Taekwondo academy and entered the Kenmore Jewel Box through the wall in a burglary.

Toshis Teriyaki was broken into and money was stolen.

A man was given a ride home after he was seen stumbling into a roadway after drinking at a local pub.

A window was smashed and a bag was taken from the back seat of a vehicle at the Inglewood Village Apartments.

 

Jan. 31

A damaged stolen vehicle was found abandoned in the 18500 block of Kenlake Place Northeast.

A man was arrested for driving without a valid license.
