Kenmore Sheriff’s Blotter: Jan. 12 – Jan. 18

Between Jan. 12 and Jan. 18, three thefts (including identity theft and fraud) occurred along with one assault, one DUI, one burglary, two instances of driving without a license, two cases of suspicious circumstances, and one case each of obstructing an officer, overdosing and a recovered vehicle.

The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of all calls to the King County Sheriff’s Office that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The King County Sheriff’s Office blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Kenmore.

Jan. 12

A woman was notified by Experian there was fraudulent activity on her credit after her personal information was stolen around a year ago from her medical insurance company.

After parking in a no parking zone, a car was towed in the 18200 block of 73 Avenue Northeast.

Trying to outsmart the police, the proud owner of a felony warrant was arrested at the Chevron Gas Station along Bothell Way after trying to conceal their identify from officers using someone else’s identification card and driving with a suspended license. They were arrested for obstructing an officer and felony and misdemeanor warrants.

 

Jan. 13

A woman was issued an intoxicated driving charge along Northeast Bothell Way after she was stopped and blew a .177 in blood alcohol content test.

 

Jan. 14

Someone was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant from Shoreline along the 7700 block of Northeast Bothell Way.

 

Jan. 15

A supposedly suspicious looking subject was standing outside his vehicle with an open truck near the Auto Shop around 12:30 a.m.

A man fell asleep in his vehicle at the Safeway gas station.

Two friends smacked each other up at the Bank of America along Northeast Bothell Way.

Items were reported missing from an apartment in the 18100 block of 73 Avenue Northeast.

Two sisters got in an argument over an ex-boyfriend in the 6400 block of Northeast 154 Street.

 

Jan. 16

An underage female was taken to Evergreen Hospital after drinking alcohol and possibly taking pills and passing out at a party which was later shut down.

 

Jan. 17

A driving with a suspended license ticket was issued in the 19700 block of 80 Avenue Northeast.

A door was smashed with a rock at Long Life Retreat and Healing.

A vehicle was recovered after a suspect rented a Dodge Ram from Enterprise and didn’t return it. It was found in a driveway of a ‘known problem house’ in the 7800 block of Northeast 203 Street.

 

Jan. 18

A stolen Seattle Police Department vehicle ws located at the Emerald Villa Apartments with no suspects.

After driving with a suspended license, a male was issued a citation in the 6800 block of Northeast Bothell Way.
