Kenmore Sheriff’s Blotter: Nine Yards Brewing burglarized, assault at Kenmore Lanes

Between Jan. 31 and Feb. 8, four thefts (including identity theft and fraud) occurred along with two assaults, one DUI, three cases of driving without a valid license, two cases of vandalism, one burglary, one count of drunkenness and one case of possession of a controlled substance.

The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of all calls to the King County Sheriff’s Office that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. Jan. 31

A 29-year-old person was arrested on intoxicated driving charges in the 6800 block of Northeast Bothell WAy.

 

Feb. 1

A woman turned in a backpack full of fireworks at Kenmore City Hall after she said she found them while cleaning out her garage.

Nine Yards Brewing was burglarized after an unknown suspect pried open a door and stole cash.

An unknown suspect stole a wallet from the Kenmore library.

A man was cited for driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device.

An unknown suspect hopped the counter at Rite Aid pharmacy and stole two bottles of codeine cough syrup.

 

Feb. 2

A robbery was reported near the 7100 block of Northeast 185 Street.

A mailbox stand was pried open at the Northlake Grove Apartment. Police report unknown losses and no suspect information.

 

Feb. 3

Someone was pushed over a traffic dispute along Northeast Bothell Way.

A citation was issued for driving with a suspended license along Simonds Road Northeast.

 

Feb. 4

A case of drunkenness was reported in the 17500 block of 80 Avenue Northeast. No further details were provided.

 

Feb. 6

Someone was found in possession of Xanax without a prescription.

A man was arrested for fourth degree assault at Kenmore Lanes. The report also said he was suspected of first-degree assault with a handgun. This report will be updated as more information becomes available.

During a dispute between a son and a father, the son threw a full soda bottle through a glass door, shattering it, resulting in a third-degree malicious mischief charge though the son was not located.

 

Feb. 7

An apartment rental fraud was reported at the Harbor Villa Apartments.

A 1996 Ford Taurus was stolen from Asteria Apartments.

A woman was cited for driving with a suspended license.
