Kenmore Sheriff’s Blotter: Passing out on the streets, deer struck

Between Feb. 20 and Feb. 28, one theft (including identity theft and fraud) occurred along with one assault, one vehicle prowl, one burglary, one trespass, one controlled substances violation, one threat, one case of suspicious circumstances, one case of forged prescriptions, three cases of driving without a valid license and one case of public drunkenness.

The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of all calls to the King County Sheriff’s Office that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The King County Sheriff’s Office blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Kenmore.

Feb. 20

A suspect was arrested on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine and black tar heroin.

 

Feb. 22

Felony harassment with a knife was reported in the 6900 block of Northeast 182nd Street.

 

Feb. 23

A vehicle was impounded after police obtained a search warrant on suspicion the vehicle was being used to prowl homes.

Someone attempted to use a forged prescriptions with a fake identification card at the Kenmore Rite Aid.

A rock was thrown through a car window while it was parked near Rite Aid. Items were stolen from the glove box and center console.

 

Feb. 24

A woman was taken to Seattle via taxi after she passed out over the wheel of her parked car.

 

Feb. 25

A suspect was arrested for possessing narcotics and drug paraphernalia, as well as a felony warrant and driving with a suspended license.

 

Feb. 26

An unknown suspect assaulted their ex-girlfriend by putting her in a headlock and throwing her to the ground in the 8200 block of Northeast 145th Street. The suspect was arrested on fourth-degree assault charges.

Someone refused to leave the Kenmore Inn and was arrested on second-degree trespassing charges.

 

Feb. 27

A man was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

 

Feb. 28

A man was sent to detox after being found sleeping on the sidewalk and having a blood-alcohol content of .352 in the 7000 block of Northeast Bothell Way.

A package was stolen from a front porch in the 8200 block of Northeast 198th Street.

After being struck by a car, a deer was euthanized in the 6900 block of Northeast 151st Street.

A citation for driving with a suspended license was issued at the Hopelink Shelter.
