Kenmore to host first State of the City address

The City of Kenmore will be hosting its first State of the City address on Feb. 25.

The City of Kenmore will be hosting its first State of the City address on Feb. 25.

Hosted by the Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce, the address will include major changes expected within the city and also upcoming activities within the city of Kenmore.

Rob Karlinsey, city manager for Kenmore, will be addressing the audience about the changes and activities for the coming year.

Topics will include the Kenmore Downtown projects, the ‘Get me to the Water’ initiative for citizen access to Lake Washington, the future of the Lakepointe project, also known as the Kenmore Industrial Park, and more.

Registration for the address and luncheon is required and costs $25.

The event will start at 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 25, at the Inglemoor Golf Club, 6505 Inglewood Road NE.
