Dec. 11

A suspect was stopped at the intersection of 61st Street Northeast and Northeast Bothell Way for traffic violations, but was then arrested and processed for driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol.

Dec. 12

A woman reported an incident of vandalism after her boyfriend of five years got angry over finances and smashed her phone in anger.

Dec. 14

A resident of the Kenmore Villa apartments, on the 760 block of NE Bothell Way, answered her door to find a man indecently exposing himself in her doorway. It is unknown if the man made any attempts to enter the home, however, the victim did call the police and the investigation has been forwarded to the prosecutor.

Dec. 15

On the 780 block of NE 147th, a grandmother allegedly assaulted her grandson by slapping and grabbing him. They were disputing over toothpaste.

A driver was pulled over near the 7700 block of NE Bothell Way for a defective license plate light, but was then arrested for driving with a suspended license in the third degree. The passenger was cited and then allowed to leave the scene.

Dec. 17

A suspect was booked into the King County Jail (KCJ) for violation under the controlled substances act (VUSCA). Not only was the suspect driving without the required interlock device and driving with license suspended, but they were in possession of narcotics, too.

A suspect was pulled over on Northeast Bothell Way for a routine traffic stop, but was then booked into KCJ when narcotics were found in the vehicle. The suspect was arrested for VUSCA.

Dec. 18

An unknown suspect stole an X-Box from the Emerald Villa Apartments at the 800 block of NE Bothell Way. No suspect information is known at this time.

A suspect was arrested for driving with a suspended license and for obstructing an officer after a brief foot pursuit along Northeast Bothell Way.

Dec. 19

A suspect was pulled over along the 19500 block of 73rd Avenue NE for driving with a suspended license. The suspect was released at the scene.

A suspect was pulled over along the 6500 block of NE Bothell Way. When it was found that the driver had altered the tabs and had no insurance, the vehicle impounded.

A 48 year-old woman was pronounced dead, from apparent natural causes, at her residence near the 760 block of NE Bothell Way.

A vehicle was broken into at Saint Edward State Park, along Juanita Drive Northeast. A purse was left in a car and a criminal smashed in the window, grabbed it, and left.

A citizen’s door was forced open and an iPad and laptop stolen from the residence along the 500 block of NE 195th Street.

A motorcycle was pulled over along the 7300 block of NE Bothell Way. The driver of the bike was cited for not having a motorcycle endorsement, not properly displaying tabs, and for having expired tabs. Though the driver was driving with a suspended license, he was released on scene.

Dec. 20

At around 3:30 p.m., a citizen living along the 19700 block of 75th Avenue NE came home to find people he used to live with loading up a vehicle with his marijuana plants from a medicinal grow operation. A statement was taken from the victim and an investigation is currently being conducted.

A driver was pulled over along the 6800 block of NE Bothell Way for a suspicious vehicle. The driver was operating the vehicle without the required interlock device and while their license was suspended. The driver was released at the scene.

A driver was pulled over at the 7700 block for driving with a suspended license for the second time in the past two days. The driver was released on scene.

Two brothers, one with special needs and the other with depression and other issues, got into a fight. No arrests were made.

A driver was pulled over at the 7700 block of NE Bothell Way for failing to transfer a title within 45 days of the sale.

Dec. 21

Inglemoor High School was the victim of theft when thieves ransacked the ball fields for electrical copper wiring from the light poles at the baseball field.

A black VW Jetta took police on a chase through Kenmore. The vehicle did end up eluding police officers and an investigation is still underway.

A bicyclist at Saint Edward State Park got into a verbal argument with another trail user. No arrests were made.

A victim started her Macbook Pro at her residence in the 1800 block of 73rd Avenue NE, when she put her password in, it told her she had an invalid entry. A message then popped up from a hacker. The incident is actively being investigated.

A suspect was pulled over at the 1700 block of 68th Avenue NE and cited for driving with a suspended license.

A routine traffic stop found an unlicensed vehicle and a driver with a misdemeanor warrant. No arrests were made.

Dec. 22

An argument between mother and daughter occurred at the 7400 block of NE 148th Lane. The 19-year-old daughter was home from college and stated she wanted to “end it all.” The daughter has bipolar disorder and has a history of attempting to hurt herself.

A citizen turned in ammunition for police disposal.
