Kilometers for Cancer announces inaugural race in Kenmore to benefit lymphoma research

Kilometers for Cancer is pleased to announce the inaugural 10K/5K run and walk on Sept. 15 in Kenmore.

Kilometers for Cancer is pleased to announce the inaugural 10K/5K run and walk on Sept. 15 in Kenmore. The event will benefit the Lymphoma Research Foundation. The Lymphoma Research Foundation is the nation’s largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to funding innovative lymphoma research.

More than 150 participants and volunteers of all ages will be in attendance for the 10K run, 5K run, 5K walk and Kids Fun Run, with recognition of top three finishers, male and female, in each age division for both 5K and 10K.

The event will be held at Log Boom Park in Kenmore. The race will utilize the park’s 12 acres and more than 1,200 lineal feet of shoreline.

Registration is now open for adults and children.

Registration is free for children 5 and younger with an adult registration for the 5k walk. Registration includes goodie bags, lightweight technical event shirt and pre and post event food and beverages. All net proceeds for the event will go directly to the Lymphoma Research Foundation.
