King County surveying citizens concerning river uses and flood preparedness

The King County River Management Department (KCRMD) is asking residents to complete a survey about their river usage.

The King County River Management Department (KCRMD) is asking residents to complete a survey about their river usage.

The survey, which was last conducted in 2011, will help the KCRMD to asses local river risks and preparations of citizens to floods, how King County can help reduce flood risks and more.

King County is also conducting a phone survey using randomly selected landlines and mobile numbers based on King County ZIP codes.

Opinions put into the survey will be used to direct outreach efforts and improve flood and river safety within King County.
