Learn to use Ham Radios in Seattle

The PC Center, located at 2363 NW 80th St. in Seattle, is offering free Ham radio classes.

This two-day Saturday course will teach anyone, with little to no experience, the basics of Ham Radio usage. After the class, participants will have enough knowledge to gain an amateur radio license.

Ham radios allow people to using a amateur frequency of the AM radio band to communicate with other Ham radio operators around the globe.

The average radio costs around $50 and the amateur license test costs around $15, but the Ham radio is a family friendly activity.
