Local House Democrats sign letter asking for Auditor Kelley to resign

A letter signed by 29 members of the House Democratic Caucus, including representatives from Bothell and Kenmore was hand delivered by Rep. Sam Hunt (D-Olympia) asking for Auditor Kelley’s immediate resignation on June 26.

A letter signed by 29 members of the House Democratic Caucus, including representatives from Bothell and Kenmore was hand delivered by Rep. Sam Hunt (D-Olympia) asking for Auditor Kelley’s immediate resignation on June 26.

The letter reads in part “Because of our overriding interest in protecting the integrity of our state’s institutions, we urge you to immediately resign your office in order to allow the people to have a State Auditor who is performing the duties of the office as required under the Washington State Constitution.”

Those from Kenmore and Bothell included: Rep. Gerry Pollet, Rep. Jessyn Farrell and Rep. Luis Moscoso.
