The city of Kenmore will host a park clean up day from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on June 25 at Log Boom Park.

The city needs a large group of volunteers to help pull invasive weeds in the restoration project area and pick up litter along the shoreline.

The city will provide tool kits but asks that volunteers bring their own set of gloves. Make sure to wear closed toe shoes.

Volunteers between the ages 14-17 will need to have their City Volunteer Agreement forms signed by a parent or guardian prior to volunteering. Younger children can volunteer with parent supervision. If interested in volunteering, contact Sarah Sandquist at 425-398-8900 or ssandquist@kenmorewa.gov.
